- Knowing and calculating loads and sling angles.
- Understanding crane maintenance and discussing your specific needs.
- Proper crane operation (do’s and don’ts of overhead cranes)
- Crane safety components; what they do and why they are important.
- Responsibilities of the overhead crane operator and equipment owner.
- Understanding and using proper hand signals.
Written exam, hands on training, and practical exam to follow. Certification granted upon successful course completion.
