Ceiling-Mounted Monorails
Require no floor space for support columns. The monorail tracks are:
- Flush-mounted parallel to ceiling beams
- Cross-mounted to ceiling beams
- Mounted with any length drop-rods (requires sway bracing), including hangers for slopes.
Free-Standing Monorails
Provide permanently installed monorail systems over long spans where there are no existing structures for mounting. Freestanding monorail configurations include:
- Cantilevered systems
- H-frame systems
- T-frame systems, ideal for parallel monorail lines
Benefits Of A Monorail Crane System
Flexible -- Monorail systems can be used in virtually any facility. They also make modification and expansion very easy. Whether you need to make a bigger crane system or expand your production floor, a monorail crane system can be quickly adapted to the changing needs of your business and the space available. Our tracks can be integrated into a total system with different sizes of the track, customized curves, and switches.
Fast – A monorail, by design, takes loads “up and over” the rest of your production floor, providing a more direct path from point A to point B and increasing efficiency in your facility.
Controlled – Through a combination of automated systems and push button pendants, your monorail crane ensures that any operator can maintain constant visibility and fine-control while remaining safely out of harm’s way.
Customizable – Do you need to move product from one section of your plant to another (or even to a different building)? From curves and slopes to integration with existing systems and application specific features, the many customization options available can make a monorail system a boon for any production line.
3D Facility Survey
Our surveys are conducted by specially trained crane reliability inspectors. The inspection and rail survey results are a precise, reliable runway analysis that will provide a cost-effective solution for any rail system.
We will produce a three-dimensional image of the runway or rail system upon completion along with a plan to provide you with the most accurate adjustments to your crane rail. This audit service will help to determine if your overhead lifting equipment achieves optimum reliability, performance and meets mandatory safety standards.
